Here is a list of expectations that should to be followed each day to ensure success for our Scholars. These expectations are just to name a few. You may also request a copy of the learning compact that each parent signed for their Scholar.
Scholar Expectations: Come to class prepared and ready to learn each day, have 3 sharpened pencils, journals, homework and signed agenda books ready to turn in daily. Attend school each day. Do your best each day and no EXCUSES. (BEST BEHAVIOR & HARD WORK)
Parent Expectations: Parents, I know that we all have busy schedules and at times it can be hard to keep up. You are reminded to do the following:: Make sure that you are working on the question stems and reading with your child each day or as much as your schedule will permit. Make sure that you are signing your Scholar's agenda book and all homework each evening. This is a great tool for us to communicate on a daily basis and to let you know how your Scholar did in class that day. Make sure that all necessary paper work is sent back that goes home. Make sure that your Scholar is practicing his or her math concepts and facts daily to help sharpen the math.
Homework Expectations: Your Scholar is to read at least 30-40 minutes each evening, math homework is assigned and based on what we worked on in class that day. There may be additional assignments posted in the agenda. All homework for the evening and assignments are written by the Scholar in this or her agenda book before they leave school each day. Studying is pertinent and beneficial!
